Digital Champions


Participants who engaged in continuing professional development through attendance at various SPEEDS training events were invited to apply for digital badges in recognition of their efforts. The application process was based on the National Forum’s Professional Development Framework, which is underpinned by both a reflective and an evidence-based approach. Applicants were invited to think about the different types of activities and types of learning, underpinning values of the PDF, and the five domains of professional learning as identified in the image below. This has been an invaluable element of the project for documenting achievements and impact. Based on the success of digital badging, we intend to continue to award Digital Champions into the future.
